Are there ways to account for the different materials like paint, sculpture, and books in the storage of the artifacts that allows for more energy efficiency, or are all the artifacts stored in fairly similar manners?

Hello Gewndolyn,

Actually different material require different conditions of storage, for instance low relative humidity is necessary for metal based collections, but such low RH could be detrimental for conservation of oil paintings and even more of panel paintings and wooden objects.

As you might have notice in museums and storages the conditions are adapted to collections needs.

The main idea behind this project is to determine what these "needs" are
